A major restructuring of the Adenix distro ecosystem as we enter the post-systemd era.

Changes to distro family:

• AdenosineOS & Merlot will be merged into a unified project

• Future versions will be released annually instead of biannually

Changes to the distros themselves:

• All future versions will be systemd-free

• Coreutils will NOT be replaced with uutils

• APT commands will be mapped to Nala

Sunsetting of Classic Distros:

In 2028, AdenosineOS, AdenoCORE, and MollyOS will be merged into a single distro. After AdenosineOS 8, AdenoCORE 11, and MollyOS 11 reach end of life in 2030, the download pages for those distros will no longer be available.

Introducing Adenix 1.0!

Adenix, not to be confused with Adenix GNU/Linux, is an upcoming distro that is the culmination of 3 years of history as an organization. It will have the combined features of AdenosineOS, AdenoCORE, & MollyOS combined, as well as many other features that Linux users know and love (except for systemd, we all know how infamous that is). Also, there is no need to worry about things like AI, government surveillance, or all that other convoluted tech bro nonsense.
